Lora Lazar's creative works
On December 5th, 2011 Lora Lazar’s first novel "The Cursed Goblet," appeared on the Bulgarian book market. The book won the national competition for crime fiction "In Agatha Christie’s Footsteps", organised by the Bulgarian publisher "Era" and the website "I read".
Released on May 21st, 2012, Lora Lazar’s second novel "The Sinful Neighbourhood" was published by "Iztok - Zapad" publishing house and it is included in their “Magica” series.
Lora Lazar’s third novel was published by “Trud” publishing house in September, 2012. The title of the novel is "Heavens of Sin”.
Released on March 4th, 2013, Lora Lazar’s fourth novel "A Borrowed Killer" was published by "Iztok-Zapad" publishing house and is again included in their “Magica” series.
Released on October 10th, 2013, Lora Lazar’s latest novel "The Merry Cemetery" was published by "Iztok-Zapad" publishing house and is again included in their “Magica” series.
Lora Lazar also writes for the stage. Some of her most successful pieces include "Memento", "Graffiti", "Home for Christmas", "A Lesson for the Class" and "A Rose on Ice".
In 2012 the play "A Rose on Ice" received recognition in the third edition of the National Literary Contest commemorating Peter Kovachev organised by Pleven Municipality.
In 2010 the play "Memento" received recognition in the first edition of the contest for a new Bulgarian play organised by Theatre “Sofia” and it was subsequently included in a special collection of plays.
In the fifth National School Theatre Festival "Kliment Mihailov", held in Ruse in 2010, the play "Graffiti" won an award for a play, which best reveals the problems of young people.
The plays "Home for Christmas" and "A Lesson for the Class" performed by the student theatre group at the “Litis” foundation touched the hearts of many viewers.
