About Lora
Lora Lazar is a Bulgarian crime author.
On December 5th, 2011 Lora Lazar’s first novel The Cursed Goblet appeared on the Bulgarian book market. The book won the national competition for crime fiction "In Agatha Christie’s Footsteps", organised by the Bulgarian publisher "Era" and the website "I read".
Released on May 21st, 2012 by "Iztok-Zapad" publishing house, Lora Lazar’s second novel The Sinful Neighbourhood is included in their “Magica” series.
Lora Lazar’s third novel is released by “Trud” publishing house in September, 2012. The title of the novel is Heavens of Sin.
Released on March 4th, 2013, Lora Lazar’s fourth novel A Borrowed Killer is published by "Iztok-Zapad" publishing house and was included again in their “Magica” series.
Released on October 10th, 2013, Lora Lazar’s latest novel The Merry Cemetеry is published by "Iztok-Zapad" publishing house and was again included in their “Magica” series.
Lora Lazar also writes for the stage. Some of her most successful pieces include "Memento", "Graffiti", "Home for Christmas", "A Lesson for the Class" and "A Rose on Ice".
The author graduated from the National School of Plastic Arts and Design "Academic Dechko Uzunov" in Kazanlak before attending Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", where she received a Master degree of "History" and "Philosophy" and a Postgraduate degree of "Cultural Studies".
